Another one of my all-time favorite quick breads, this classic banana bread will make you look no further for another recipe. Enjoy!
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 2 bananas, pureed or mashed
Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350*F and grease a 9x5inch loaf pan
Step 2
In a large bowl, stir together the melted butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla and mix well.
Step 3
Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt, and stir into the butter mixture until smooth. Finally, fold in the sour cream, walnuts, and bananas. Spread evenly into pan.
Step 4
Bake for an hour and cool for 10 minutes.
