This is by far my all-time favorite chicken dish! It’s one of those recipes that seems so much harder to make than it really is and you can impress all of your guests at dinner! Definitely add the mushrooms too. Enjoy!
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves, pounded 1/4 inch thick
- 4 tbsp butter
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 cup marsala wine
- 1/4 cup chicken stock
Method
Step 1
Mix the flour and seasonings, and coat the chicken in the flour mixture.
Step 2
In a large skillet, melt the butter in oil over medium heat. Place chicken in the pan and lightly brown.
Step 3
Turn over the chicken pieces, and add mushrooms. Pour in the wine and chicken stock.
Step 4
Cover the skillet with a lid and cook for 10 mites, turning once, until fully cooked. Enjoy!
