So last weekend I went to my Aunt Ana’s house who lives in South Miami, and tasted another one of her famous cheesecakes. Everybody asks her to bring those special pies to office parties, holidays, birthdays, anything. The best part about this elegant cheesecake is that you can put your own twist in it; add jam, chocolate, pumpkin, whatever floats your boat!
Ingredients
- 4 (8oz) Philadelphia cream cheese blocks
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 tbsp flour
- 4 eggs
- 8 oz (1 cup) sour cream
- Graham Cracker Crust:
- 1 pckg crushed graham crackers
- 1/2 cup melted butter
Method
Step 1
Mix cream cheese, sugar, and flour well until creamy. Then add eggs one at a time. Spoon in the sour cream and mix with spoon.
Step 2
Pour batter into 3 prepared graham cracker crusts. Bake at 400*F for 8 minutes. Then lower for 250*F for about 45 minutes.
Step 3
It is done when the top is no longer jiggly when touched. (Put all 3 cheesecakes into the oven at the same time.
Step 4
To make the graham cracker crusts: Mix the graham crackers and melted butter together and press into the mold. *Pre-bake for 10 minutes*
Step 5
Variation: Chocolate Swirl Cheesecake -Divide batter and add melted chocolate into one half. Swirl / mix until you think it looks pretty đŸ™‚
